WHAT'S IT LIKE TO WORK ON A FARM??

Welcome to my work blog!

So, after some thought, I decided to start a work blog!! Over the years, friends and family seem pretty impressed upon telling them about the farm where I work. A lot of them seem shocked at the actual size of the nursery, and the quanity of product we crank out in a season. So why not keep a daily journal of what goes on here?

Beautiful Day

The rain finally moved out after what seemed like forever here!  A shot of our Sudan grass field and the fluffy clouds in the sky.  Sudan grass is grown to cover our containers in the fall for overwintering purposes.

All the pretty roses

I was having a stressful morning.  So I decided to give myself some roses, to brighten up the day and my desk!
These were cut from our own farm!  Most of our roses are blooming with colors right now.

Rosa Bonica, Macy's Pride, Double Knock Out, All the Rage, Pink Double Knock Out, just to name a few...there are others in here as well, but I picked so many different ones that I forgot what they all were!

Stormy day back

Today, on our first day back to work after the holiday, we have an interesting sky to look at.
My phone takes panoramic photos, so I thought I'd try to take a couple of the storm cell.
I love storms!!
Roses Sunny Knock Out and Double Knock Out and the contrasting sky....
